Post-Tensioning Losses Report

The Post-Tensioning Losses report is available in the Final and Final w/o Sway analysis/design cases as long as a service combination has been defined for one or both of those cases and post-tensioning is present.

The POI column shows the name or label of the POI and, for program-generated POIs, it is composed of a span number and a fractional distance into the span. For example, the POI labeled "Sp1.050" is for the POI at midspan in Span-1. User-specified POIs will appear here as well. The Location column shows the physical location of the POI on the box girder, relative to the start of the girder. The Top Offset column shows the vertical distance from the top of the girder to the cg of the tendon. The ecc column shows the distance to the tendon cg from the cg of the cross section.

The Initial Force column shows the initial force in the tendon, accounting for friction, wobble and anchor set. The Current Force column shows the force in the tendon at the currently viewed analysis/design case. The percent loss is computed as follows:

initialforce - currentforce CurrentForce 100

The column labeled Stress Loss shows the loss of force converted to a stress.
